My First Dance with Josh

*Deep breath*

Little did I know when I awoke today that I would be sharing my first dance with Josh (Groban).  While listening to, for the very first time, his song, “Below the Line’, I was inspired to dance and to film this dance.  What ensued was the first time I danced in this particular manner…with focus on my boot sounds on the floor. Daily Dance Blog…Coming Soon

For a few months now, I’ve had ideas/thoughts pertaining to a daily dance blog.  I think I’m ready to allow this to come to the forefront of my mind as a primary part of my work to balance the more heady, business side that is going to be taking a great deal of my time through the end of the calendar year.  At this point, I’m not at all sure what this is going to look like or consist of save for what I hope to be an example and inspiration to others to listen to more music and to get up and just dance! Flying High with a New Epiphany!

Wow! A huge shift in perspective on one aspect of my life/work in particular just took place. Wow! This is going to alter everything…namely, my approach to the presentation of my ‘work’. I can’t believe this. One of my closest and dearest friends has been trying to communicate this to me & help me understand this since I got back here last August and FINALLY…FINALLY I get it! ‘Don’t Panic’ – A Noune Original

Inspired today by my shirt selection. The blue shirt I am wearing has written on the front, ‘Don’t Panic’. This was one of my favorite farm work shirts when I lived in Sarasota the first time around (2008-2010). There are only a few in my world who may remember how appropriate this Goodwill pick was for me at the time. And obviously…still very much applicable. I would argue…applicable to ALL of us. (more…)
