Our Titles/Labels Are Hindering Our Interactions

First of all, allow me to point out that when speaking of the fields of medicine and law in the beginning of this video, I meant to say OBJECTIVE and not SUBJECTIVE as I referenced the work done (generally speaking, as compared to other fields). In this video, I talk about how I believe our labels and titles are hindering our ability to communicate most effectively with one another beginning with how they affect us individually. If you have spent the majority of your adult life rising up and engaging in the world based on labels, it is extremely difficult to understand who you REALLY are and to see your absolute uniqueness. In places like hospitals and the military, I acknowledge the need for hierarchy given the immediate life and death scenarios at hand. However, in the world at large, I believe we need to begin to move away from our immense reliance upon these identifications. They have given many a false belief of being ‘better than’ or ‘less than’ and as such, GREATLY limiting how we can work together.

Bringing Diverse Communities Closer Together

I believe my role in the world right now is very much to serve as a bridge…a connecter.  I have the capability to relate to, communicate with, and be accepted by many very different communities.  I am able to convey these varied perspectives I now have as a result of my personality and my direct experiences within these groups. From corporate world, to agriculture, to entrepreneurialism.  From elite athletes to elite academics to elite professionals.  From wealthy to poor and those in between.  I believe I am here to share my stories and to begin to implement my ideas in order to bring us closer together for the ultimate purpose of understanding.  With better understanding, we are able to gain empathy.  And with empathy perhaps our level of acceptance & respect for one another may rise resulting in a much more peaceful world.

Past Fears of Feminine Power (Part 2)

In this video, part 2 of 2, I speak of two powerful aspects of females living in our time: 1) the level of confidence that a female has in her body, regardless of how it ‘looks’ and 2) women beginning to help one another. Remember…it is ALL about the energy and we have limited ourselves tremendously in this regard due to our extensive self-judgment & self-hatred. Our massive insecurities have caused us to not only waste ridiculous amounts of energy individually but also, collectively, as a gender. If you are not at peace with yourself each exchange you have with another woman is ‘less-than’ it could be.

As we work to help one another reverse the negative energies & redirect the newly found positive energies, you will not believe what and how much we can accomplish. I believe this shift ALONE in our society could create World Peace. THAT is how powerful we are…especially at this moment in time. However, it must begin with our connection to ourselves. We need to learn to listen to and trust our intuition and the parts of us that makes us different from the guys. And most importantly, we need to lose our fears of acting on these feelings. The men in our lives (generally) and the still dominant male energies of our society and world have made us believe our viewpoint is less valid…less valuable. And that is just not true. But WE have to be the ones to have the courage to choose to act differently. And the more we help one another, the easier it will be.

Past Fears of Feminine Power (Part 1)

In this video, part 1 of 2, I begin to attempt to explain the extremely mixed energies I’ve been battling within myself for 2+ decades regarding my feminine side. Aided by the extreme, societal objectification of females, I’ve fought my softer side, including how it has related to my physical appearance. Above all else, and namely from men, I desired respect of my intelligence. Whenever I began to try to embrace my female side – particularly in my body and in my dress – I felt as if I was selling out to all females and further contributing to the overall objectification. As a result of all of these conflicting things taking place, my body image suffered tremendously and my eating issues/disorders were exacerbated.
