Since being back in Sarasota, my path has crossed with at least 2 possible corporate opportunities – i.e. the 2 individuals work in formal, corporate settings but understand the philosophical framework underlying my company. Additionally, I will say again publicly…I do not believe I landed at Microsoft in July of 2011, as my first and what will now be my only WA employer, accidentally. The opportunities are plentiful for many differenet potential collaborations with the dozens of people I got to personally know during my year there.
Specifically, I have consulting ideas to assist mainstream business in the transition from old-paradigm to new. Why would said businesses remotely care about something they can’t yet observe taking place? This supposed “new paradigm”? Why would big corporations, filled with decision makers most likely not able to hear or see my ideas as valid, be interested? Because I believe my extremely low-risk ideas will make them more money. And I think the difference will be noticeable within as little as 6 months.
I have the beginning framework for this specific business offering. Succinctly, greater relaxation & happiness leads to the lowering of inhibitions & fears, which will naturally result in more creative, innovative ideas. Right now, I envision working with my Seattle Dream Team when I am back home in the summer to develop an approach that uses company’s already-existing employee morale programs. I will soon be ready for the first opportunity that presents itself.
